| cant post adverts(FIXED)
urrrgghh!
another moderator message, prolly the same for users too as only a small part have posted on classifieds.
"We got the button now but whenever you click submit at step three it just returns you to step one instead of submitting the ad"
Any ideas on this one?
Cheers

I would suggest you download the latest classifieds as your running one with bugs that we have already fixed. I pointing you to a fix earlier I beleive and I do beleive there are other fixes so you can upgrade to 2.4.1 and follow the instructions Michael has posted to upgrade

Try in uploadproduct.php add in bold
typecast($_POST, array('theimage' => STRING, 'process' => STRING, 'category' => STRING, 'skipupload' => STRING, 'processall' => STRING,

Path to phpinfo?
Still cant replicate it but here's another test
in uploadproduct.tmpl down bottom add line bold
<input type="hidden" name="userid" value="{$User['userid']}" /> <input type="hidden" name="process" value="do" />
<input type="hidden" name="category" value="$cat" />
In uploadproduct.php change this line
if ( !isset($theimage) ) {
to this
if ( $process != "do" ) {

Make sure to replace any files we have tried to mod with fresh ones. I will have to think of something else since this is something I can not reproduce.

Okay we do not support vb 3.5 however your issue has nothing to do with classifieds. I can post ads fine using the header include I released.
Your image seems to be that something in your vb3 maybe a hack is overwriting the value $theimage which is causing your error. So the correct options would be to find what hack is causing this in Vb and remove it. The minute your vb header comes down things work.

OK... i've installed a TEST board and pointed everything to that test board, it was a new install of beta 4, not touched... its still doing the same thing, so it cant be a hack... never had any installed anyhow.
