Try this as it is specific to vb3 template. Make sure to run the default unmodified files and then in your uploadproduct templates down the bottom where the hidden inputs are add the line in bold
<input type="hidden" name="userid" value="{$User['userid']}" /> <input type="hidden" name="process" value="do" />
<input type="hidden" name="category" value="$cat" />
<input type="hidden" name="MAX_FILE_SIZE" value="2000000" />
<input type="submit" value="{$Globals['pp_lang']['uploadsubmit']}" />

Did you make sure to upload unmodified files? Did you make sure to apply the edit I stated above in the uploadproduct templates in the vb3enhanced directory under templates?
Surely works

Only other thing to try is place the process on the request line instead of post
typecast($_REQUEST, array('process' => STRING,'cat' => INT));

hmm ok if i set "Use Integrated forum stylesheets?" to yes... it will place an advert, so that is now working... great... BUT if i then set "Do you want to enable the vB3 Integration" to YES i get the message "Warning: main(./includes/functions_showthread.php): failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /home/virtual/site1/fst/var/www/html/sales/header-inc.php on line 82
Fatal error: main(): Failed opening required './includes/functions_showthread.php' (include_path='.:/php/includes:/usr/share/php') in /home/virtual/site1/fst/var/www/html/sales/header-inc.php on line 82"
