What integration are you using? When did you download the Classifieds you installed?

It was the latest build you had posted, I read that whole thread pertaining to that I managed to get it working by re-uploading the config-inc.php and header-inc.php files, running the upgrade script and it then allowed me to log in properly.

I'm using 2.4.1 and doing a new installation with vB3 and having the exact same problem. I've not yet been able to access the classifieds admin, since I'm in this circular login/logout loop.
I went into the classifieds tables and set the cookie domain path to .domain.com and have the same in my forums.
What might this be?
I'm logged in as the admin, and when I get to the clessifieds directory, I'm shown as logged in. When I click the admin link, I'm asked to login again, and at that point I get logged out from the entire board. When I log in again, I go through the cycle again and never get to the classifieds admin panel.

Check your cookie settings and vblicense number. Sounds to me like there not set to match vb3
Your cookie path should be this in both /
Your cookie prefix is in your vb config file and the default is bb
Your cookie domain is usually blank or set to .domain.com and both apps should match
You of course only know your license number (not customer number) its located at the top of the files look at the top of your config file to grab it |

I did pull the license number directly from the vB config file. I'm doing a fresh install to see if that helps.

Fresh install, no change. vB license number verified. Folder permissions verified. Cookie domain in vB verified.
Perchance, does the fact that I'm doing the install using Firefox make a difference? Is there something I'm not seeing or setting in the install process that I'd see in IE?
Also, register_globals for this server is on.
This fix seems to have worked. Code: Content visible to verified customers only.

That would mean to me you did not have the cookie prefix set correctly

Perhaps you can share where exactly in the vB admin panel an admin would see this to know that a value should be placed there.
I'm not seeing it, so I figure if I haven't defined a value and none is displayed to me under the vB cookie settings area, there's no prefix.
It occurs to me that given the frequency with which people are having this same problem, an explanatory paragraph in the installation steps would be a given.

In my post above I stated this below which stated exactly where the prefix was found. Quote: |
Your cookie prefix is in your vb config file and the default is bb
| In our Photopost documentation cookie settings are thoroughly covered for vb3 users as lots of people make this mistake. Most times alot of issues would be resolved with the use of the search engine. However we know the world is not perfect and yes there are many threads on the same mistakes users make over and over again. vB3 Integration FAQ

I have upgraded our installation to v2.41 and I am stuck in a loop unable to login in. All settings remain the same as pre-upgrade. I deleted all my cookies and tried again. Now when I click ont he admin link it asks for a user/pass and I provide that then it shows me logged out.
What should I do, it seems to be acookie issue but why is it happening? All my settings are the same as pre-upgrade.

It should have happened all along
Your cookies are not right I can assume Lets see here
Is your cookie prefix set to bb?
Is your vblicense number entered in the config not customer number?
These are the two most common mistakes

Cookie prefix set to airstreamforums_ for each application. vB License number confirmed and re-copy & pasted to make sure.
No when I click the admin link (shich shows that at least that page knows I have privileges) I get a login. Then I login successfully (misc.php message) and then I am kicked back out to the classifieds home page again.

If you click admin and get a login page your cookies or vb license number has to not be synced up. This is a given.
Make sure also that all the files uploaded to the server are new so you might want to try that again
