3.5beta 2

hi omegatron

i had to upgrade to vb3.5beta2 today as my forums were crapping out, permissions problem that i couldnt fix, but since updating to 3.5beta2 they seem fine now.

now when i go to the classifieds which i got working last night i only get a blank index page, but i can get in to the admin area of classifieds... what do i do now to get it sorted again, do i run the install again?

Cheers

Of course cookies

Check the settings table in the database and make sure settings 181-183 match the correct cookie settings

I would set the domain to .all-forums.co.uk for both apps and make sure your vb license number is entered correctly in the config-inc.php file

Okay your classifieds cookies need to be set like this

cookie path /

cookie prefix bb

cookie domain .all-forums.co.uk

Now I noted vb license number above as well make sure that is entered as it is found on the top of the config file in vb as its the license number not vb customer number

PS:

Remember... it was working before I updated to 3.5beta2, and from then I have not changed the licence number.

well I would test out integration with 3.07 as we do not support 3.5 of Vbulletin at this time.

There has to be something set incorrectly in regards to cookies or your classifieds is corrupt. Does it work with the header include off?

hey thanks for this!

ok i get an error on this line:
Warning: chdir(): No such file or directory (errno 2) in /home/virtual/site1/fst/var/www/html/sales/header-inc.php on line 196

which is > chdir($pppath . "/");

and with that error it does the odd cookie type thing again.. logded in at the top but guest at the bottom. turn heades off and its fine again.

you can give up if you want, I understand when you say its not supported.
Would just be nice if it was working lol
