Upgrade from 201 to 2.3 - Now I can't do squat

OK here's the setup -

Classifieds - standalone.
PHP - 4.3.11
MySQL - 4.0.23-standard
Apache 1.3.33

2.0.1 worked fine. No problems logging in or anything else.

Upgraded to 2.3 -

Click Login from main page and get - Invalid login message.
Click register, and cant get beyond the coppa prompt

Try to login into adm-index, and it goes to a blank page at misc.php

And before anyone asks, I went over the forums for the past 2 days, and I cant find any answers.

OH I hate it when I figure the problem out 15 min after posting.

Anyone else having this problem, it is "Register globals". If your ISP has them turned off, then you'll need to put in an .htaccess file in your classifieds folder
with the following - php_flag register_globals on

Or I am sure there is a place in one of the files to do this, But I am too tired to look at the code right now.

That's great on a Linux system, but what are we suppose to do on the Windows servers with IIS? I can not get it to run now.
