Pulling My Hair out - Water Marks not working!
 

Ok, I just bought the Classifieds, and overall I like it so far, but I can not for th elife of me get the Watermarks to work (I know it only is for newly uploaded images, not existing).
I have Water Marks Set to Yes and the path:
/home/webadmin/www.mysite.com/ubbthreads/pp-classifieds/images/watermark.gif
I have the watermark.gif file in that directory.
Also, I have checked ALL user groups in the Categories checked to allow watermarking of images.

Yet - the images are NOT getting water marked. What might the problem be?

Also, is there a manual for this product? (if not, there should be)

Have you considered try a PNG-24 image with an alpha channel transparency layer? I'm never tried using a GIF image, although I would assume it works. Are you using ImageMagick for your image processing?

Since I have no idea what you're talking about, my guess would be no. (I've heard of PNG images, but alpha channel transparency layer? I think I heard Mr Data on Star Trek talk about that on episode 8 B=0 ) I have only tried a plan gif image.

No, I don't have ImageMagick on my server (its a VPS). It seems the only thing I have is GD1 (I tried the GD2 setting and nothing worked so I'm assuming my server just has GD1).
