Major installation problem

Well I worked it out:
Querries given by users was (Maybe i'm stupid) But below is how I got mine to work:

UPDATE pp_settings SET setting = '/e/' WHERE varname = 'cookie_path';
UPDATE pp_settings SET setting = 'mydomain' WHERE varname = 'domain_path';
UPDATE pp_settings SET setting = 'bb' WHERE varname = 'cookieprefix';

In red is my values added mydomain is not original domain for security issues, but I done that query & all fine now thank god.

I hope admin here don't have to make users go through this, now let's see what other hurdles I hit.

Thanks for reply, but I done 3 installs, & made sure cookie path was right.
The only way I got it to work was the querry mentioned.

So I'm no guru in mysql etc, but it seems either im a fool or could there be a bug?

Usually you would set things like VBulletin which they are this

cookie path / which makes it site wide
cookie prefix bb
cookie domain blank or .domain.com would be best though
