How about the VB license number. Have you entered that in the config-inc.php file

I am back EXACTLY where I was. Login loop for the admin screen. I filled out everything to the T, double checked everything.

VERY frusted. Can someone please help me? A lot of the information I have filled out didn't carry over to the pp_settings table.

The instally shouldn't be failing like this.

Here is the way it is.

Verify your cookie settings for VB3

In the config-inc.php file make sure for vb3 license you only enter this L7876f61 no spaces etc

Then in phpmyadmin make sure the cookie settings are the same as VB3 cookie settings are settings 181-183 in settings table and most common mistake is the cookie prefix is wrong or vb3 license number

Looks like I got it to work.

No idea how.

Didn't change the license or the cookie settings.

I did reupload /forums/global.php and after that it worked (although I didn't change the license #).

Who knows. I am just happy it works.
