Upload large images - Error message not working.

Yet another bug I've come across.

When a user tries to upload a photo from editproduct.php that is too large (in this case 4mb) the system does not give any error message as to why the upload fails.

The are taking to the "Message" page after the upload completes, but the only thing on the message page is the name of the image.

Displayed like this:

s KTM 2-24-05 017.jpg:

As you can see, it's printing the colon after the image name indicating theres some kind of message that should be there. I also see a message in uploadproduct language file that would have to do with images that are too large. I do not see this same message in the editproduct language file.

I'm not sure that would even help anyway, because when I user uploads a photo that is too large from uploadproduct.php (instead of editproduct.php that I was discussing above). If the image they are uploading is too large, it doesn't even take them to that message page I listed above, instead it kicks the straight to viewing their ad as if everything was just fine, except the image that was just uploaded with their ad isn't there.

I find no place in Admin to adjust the limits of how big an image can be uploaded before it's rejected. All that is there are the options for what to resize that image to.

And even if the option was there to adjust it, there is still the problem of the system not giving the user an error message telling them why their upload failed.

Hi..
Most php servers have set a default of (2MB) for uploads, have you checked this? your 4meg upload may produce this effect.

Oops...I'm an idiot

OK, I admit it. I'm an idiot that jumped to conclusions.

I forgot all about the upload_max_filesize in php.ini

When I seen the language file uploadproduct.php contained a line that said:

Code:
Content visible to verified customers only.
I immediately assumed it was a problem with the classified system blocking the upload.
