Random auctions on mainpage sidebar??

Is there a feature in PPC to show running or random auctions on the main classifieds page sidebar - separate of the fixed price ads?

The Classifieds has on the sidebar a random ad pal box

In your admin area find this and set to yes

Random Ad
Display Random Image?

Thanks for the quick reply, but that's not what I was looking for. There's two options I see in Admin; one is under:

Index Options
Show Random images on Index page?
I have it set to yes so it shows four random ads on the bottom of the pages.

The other is:
Sidebar Settings
Random Ad - Display Random Image?
I also have it set to yes. It shows one randomly selected ad in the sidebar.
These work as they should.

Basically what I'm looking for is a way to show only auction ads in their own side box - separate of any fixed price ads. Like a "Random Auctions" box in addition to the "Random Ads" box. I don't see a current way to do this.

Then you would need to use one of the 3 extra custom pals and code up a box for that.

I hope there will be a setting like this for a future release. Auctions need a hight profile to make them popular.

Maybe in the Recent Ads bar that can be placed at the top of the pages, there could be an optioin like "auctions" sorted by those ending soonest. If there are not enough auctions on a site to fill the boxes, they could be filled with "recent ads"

You would place whatever code you want in the custom pal to achieve whatever you wish. You can ask the user to share his custom code if he chooses.

I wouldn't mind a set of detailed instructions either.

If your asking how to write a code modification you might want to post in the code modification forums where users can interact with one another on stuff that falls outside product support.
