vb3 users

Hi

I cant get photopost classifieds to use my vb3 database for its users, I have the same problem with review post. The database details are correct for my vb3 database, does anyone have any idea besides the FAQ (i've been through that already)

Have you selected VB3 when you install?

Have you selected the proper table prefix?

Have you verified the mysql settings?

You might want to post what type of error you are getting

Reason I ask all these questions is simple. The is a vast majority probally 30-40 percent of our customers that use VB and it integrates just fine using that user database.

When I first installed it (v1) it work fine for quite awhile. I only started having this problem when I upgraded from vb2.x to vb3 and upgraded photopost classifieds to version 1.8.

The classifieds ads display OK, only unregistered users can post ads, vb usernames dont work.

Yep theyre correct

I dont get an actualy error related to this, I just cant log into the admin and VB users can't post ads with their VB username. The cookie settings are as suggested in the FAQ on this site, my VB forum also used the same setting.

I don't doubt that, it worked without any problems when i first set it up.

YOU ARE NOT TELLING IT TO INTEGRATE WITH VB3

You just told me so LOL. You upgraded VB2 to VB3 and then upgraded Classifieds. I guess in all that confusion you did not tell Classifieds to use VB3 so it still thinks it is integrating with vb2

In phpmyadmin change setting 41 of the photopost settings table from vb2 to vb3
