what type of editor are you selecting to use try selecting another type under admin settings see what happens as far as description.
Are you by change viewing your own ad. If so you are not going to see any type of place a bid or buy it now.
You likewise need to be logged in as well. If you are logged in and the person allows you to buy it now you will see that link when viewing anothers ad and when viewing another persons auction you will see the place a bid link.

Logged out of the site and viewed as guest. Still have the same view as the attached photo. No way to bid.

As I posted a guest would not see those options.
You need to be logged in as a user who is not the one who posted the ad.
If you want me to comment further you need to post a url and test login for us to look at your site here.

still shows as double spaced. I modified the showproduct.php but nothing has changed.
I attached a photo. It just doesn't look good.
Additionally, on the basic wysiwyg editor, the "style" dropdown does not work, thus not allowing any font changes.

OK... i found the issue. If you use the enter key prior to the words automatically wrapping it treats it as another paragraph which looks to be the default of the editor. This can be worked around but most users will not know how.
Still cannot figure out why the "style" dropdown does not work.

correct that is universally know since the days of the typewriter LOL
If you hit enter that means a line break so in html a line break is a break html tag
Hard for me to offer advise about drop downs or other stuff without knowing a real url here as noted before in this thread.

| Well not entirely true.... as i'm editing this post in the vbulletin wysiwyg editor
if I hit enter as I just did without letting the
text wrap as i did again
it maintains single
line spacing.

Right but I am referring to how the4 WYSIWYG editor works in our application right not vbulletin and how every word processor or typewriter notepad wordpad etc works. Enter is a line break that is constant.
At any rate the edit I gave you makes sure we do not convert line breaks to html break tags so the only spacing should be break tags already in the description. http://www.ssandboxx.com/market/show...ite-16gb&cat=4
How does our dropdown not work?
On the right top corner of the showproduct page is our dropmenu of options and yours works.

Hi Chuck
Fair enough...
The dropdown that is not functioning for me is in the editor. i've attached a photo.
It remains just as you see it with no options for font style.

That is simple there are no styles to choose from. I do not beleive in the default downloadable tinymce that there are a bank of styles to use
I can remove the following from config variable so that box does not show in tinymce Code: Content visible to verified customers only.
That is found in pp-inc.php under the tinymce variables define and I can do that in the next version

You can login there the advanced editor shows.
Are you sure you have uploaded all the 5.23 contents except config files?
We will not be integrating with the vb editor.

We will not be integrating with the vb editor. | I uploaded everything. Would there be a specific file or files which I could verify in order to get the advanced editor working?

Hi Chuck,
Deleted the js directory and pp-inc.php
then reuploaded both from the original downloaded version of pp-classifieds523
The result is the same, when advanced editor is selected in the admin area nothing shows when creating an ad.
