WYSIWYG Editor

Hi Chuck,

i have vb 420 and classifieds 5.11

In admin oprion/ WYSIWYG Editor settings, the option "no" only works for the GREEK language.(no color, bold, italic, etc...)

the options basic and advanced does not display the words correctly.
my database is utf-8 and collation utf-8 general.ci

What is wrong?
thanks for the time
Nikos

I definately would need lots more info here we do not have a greek language with our application nor do I speak or write it.

What specifically is your problem?

What specifically is not working that is not what your being clear about here at least to me. You can set the editor to off basic or advanced in admin that setting has nothing to do with a language translation.

If your trying to say that the tinymce editor does not support greek language there is not much I can tell you about that it is an external application made by another company. If it does not support your language you can not use it and must set the option to off.

the text with basic editor
"<p>&kappa;&alpha;&lambda;&eta;&mu;έ&rho;&alpha; &sigma;&epsilon; &omicron;&lambda;&omicron;&upsilon;&sigmaf;</p>"

the same text with off editor options
"καλημέρα σε ολους"

Maybe try changing line 751 of showproduct.php to this

Code:
Content visible to verified customers only.
Basically your looking for a way to overcome what the editor does to the language

Please do not post our copyrighted code here I have removed that from here.

If you wish to obtain the correct file with the change I noted download the latest code 5.11 and upload the showproduct.php file from there.
