Edit Posts

I am having a strange issue with editing comments. When it first loads I can see the edit box with the text but then it disappears immediately. lol It lasts all of 3 seconds and then just disappears. I have tried it in IE, Chrome and FF and the same happens in each of them. I believe this is pulling from the forums so I don't know what the issue would be since this isn't a problem with my sites posts. Any ideas? Perhaps a direction I could start looking in? Is this using templates from vbulletin? If it is, I can go and check to see if any mods were made to thjose templates.

Possibly a hack conflict with a vb hack it sounds as the full comment editor is the vb one.

I would try turning off all hacks especially ones that deal with the editor or smilies in vb. All we show is a basic box with smilies with vb.

Do you have any other ideas? I disabled every mod on my site, including vbseo and the issue persisted. I also checked my editor templates and they are all default.

I am seeing this in the source code:

Code:
Content visible to verified customers only.
It's showing my text (am I right) if I view the source code but the block that allows it to be edited is invisible. Is that hidden textarea suppose to be there?

I am running vb 4.2.0 Patch Level 2.

Interesting what happens if you replace your vb4enhanced comments.tmpl with this one?

That worked like a charm. What was the issue?

Some type of incompatibility with the vb editor on your site I guess.

Now I updated the build with that template so if you want to redownload and upload pp-inc.php I made a change that loads the tinymce editor on that page so all pages are covered by the wysiqyg editor.
