No Links to Admin or To Post

I upgraded my vBulletin to 4.2.0 Patch Level 2 and now I don't see the Marketplace tab, don't see the link to add new ads or the link to the Admin. Please help, I just sent out a newsletter to over 25,000 members thinking it was working.

Are you running the latest classifieds 5.01 and generated the new plugins to support the vbulletin 4.2 series

Yes the recent Classifieds 5.x series supports the new vb 4.2 navigation mananger.

I just upgraded and the tabs and links are working. But when I go to Member Ads and click on a member, the profile is just blank.

Also when I click on My Ads it doesn't show any of my ads.

you have an example? if your talking about your forum profile you need to track that down maybe try disabling all plugins except classifieds see if your forum profile works.

You can post real urls to where your issue is as I viewed what I think if your site and I see no issue with the showmembers.php script.

As far as My Ads link try in showcat.php line 64 should read this as ppuser needs to be passed.

I replaced line 64 with that but it still doesn't show ads.

And I'm referring to the Classifieds Profile, no vbulletin profile. See the attachments.

Your profile in classifieds looks fine you have not clicked a link on the left to display info and you have not entered any profile info so thats why its blank

I can not say where your at with your on picture a url works better which is what I suggested in my last post

I see no issues

My ads pulls up your own ads and that change I noted works for that but as far as member ads that goes to showmembers which shows ads broken down by user as mine shows. If there are no active ads then nothing will be shown which your first picture might convey and empty is normal if you have no ads uploaded.

I went to reeftalk, clicked on Member Ads, and then clicked on the Chuck S profile and I see a profile with tabs.

When I go to my classifieds, I click on Member Ads, then click on lukem and see a blank profile section. The left side looks completely different as well. When I click on the Edit Profile For link on the left I get a blank page. See screenshots.

The My Ads seems to be working now with your edit.

It seems like when I click on the member, it goes to a classifieds profile link instead of the vbulletin profile.

You need to actually install the classifieds plugins and do not know if this makes a difference as I do not know what version your using but I am on version 501 of classifieds.

I installed 5.01 today. After uploading all the files I generated the new XML for the plugin, went to vb admin and added the new xml in the plugins list and selected overwrite. That fixed all the other issues I had.

Just seems that when I go to Members Ads: Users - USA Carry Marketplace

the links for the users go to marketplace/ url's instead of the actual vbulletin profile like reeftalk does.

HMM I can not say why yours operates differently the profile link going to the forum is automatic if your using ALL the latest files and have the correct plugins installed.

Maybe try edit the showmembers.php script and make line 206 this

That didn't work. It made all the profile links go to:
- USA Carry Marketplace

Here's what I did when I upgraded if that helps. I was at 5.0. I uploaded all the new files but didn't run the upgrade script per the update post. Then I went to Generate vBulletin Plugin XML in the admin, generated the XML, went to vbulletin admin, imported the new xml and selected overwrite.

Here is the current 206 line in showmembers.php:

You have to be mixing and matching old and new files only explanation I can come up with. Those are the members ads and my ads links respectively and any profile links are correct.

Plus there is the question why your profile links do not go to your forum and that means the plugin is not installed or likewise yet again you have not updated all your files as the profile bypass is defined in your forum integration file.

With 5.x series every last file has to be updated except the 2 config files.

I just upgraded to 5.1. I still had the same problem so I deleted all the files on the server except for the two config files and reuploaded all the files from 5.1. I created the new plugin and submitted that through my VB admin. I'm still having the same problem.

On the Member Ads page:

Your install it looks fine now since you have installed the plugins.

Your talking about the members name link not the image which does link correctly. If you want the name to go the same place as the thumbnail image goes then do the following.

Line 206 of showmembers.php should read this
