Looking at upgrade instructions on 5.0 it is different than 5.1

What do you mean here?

The current code is 5.01 and there is a list of files to upload with no upgrade script if your upgrading from 5.0 as noted in the announcement.

The upgrade instructions are located in the documentations folder and have not changed instructions for upgrading are clearly listed there. If your upgrading from a version prior to the 5.x series you follow those instructions.

Chuck, I wouldn't be asking for 5.0 if I were updating it to 5.1 from 5.0

Right but I am not sure real what your asking here. You where the one who said 5.1 not us.
My last post should have answered your question.

Our code in the download area is 5.01 and the upgrade instructiions are included in the downloaded code as stated simply download the code and upgrade.

Chuck I do not want to get into this he/she said BS games with you. I ask a simple question that is quoted in this post.

In the members area there is only version 5.1 available for download which I downloaded earlier this evening.

On 05.29.12 you posted instructions here on what files to upload to upgrade to 5.0 (upgrade from what, I assume 4.21?)

Then on on 06.13.12 you posted instructions here on how to upgrade from 5.0 to 5.1

The files look different between the two on what should be uploaded for an upgrade. I do not want to upgrade from 4.21 straight to 5.1 if it is going to screw my board up. If I need to upgrade to 5.0 first from 4.21 then I need version 5.0

I ask you in my first post where I could download version 5.0 because instructions between 5.0 and 5.1 were different on what files to upload but I feel I get a load of crap (smart a$$) remark. A more detail explanation would have been appropriate.

Also do you not have a paid members emailing list to notify customers when updates become available? I checked for months looking for a classified ad update but you guys were busy with other projects. One gets tired of looking, it would be nice to be notified of an update.

WarDog I do not know why this is so hard to understand but I will go through it once more. There is no 5.0 that was an older version posted a few months ago.

There is no 5.1 code which you repeatedly try to post in this thread and even say there are instructions for. I have stated our latest code is 5.01. This is why I have asked twice what you are talking about.

You are referencing release announcements not actual upgrade instructions they only discuss the exact file changes from one version to next.

Your instructions for upgrading would be listed in the documentations folder of the downloaded as I have stated in all my posts. You basically are uploading every last thing from the downloaded code except the 2 config files and maybe header and footer files if your using those otherwise you need to upload every last file and run the upgrade script and select from 4.x-5.x

We do not do mailings for every last version release as no one keeps there emails current and we get tons of bounce backs

We announce our releases here and as well you should be notified looking at your admin statistics in the program.
