Looks to me like your using the externally provided WYSIWYG editor in basic mode. You can try advanced mode in admin options.

Interesting well that is an external script not part of our actual code. I will see if I find anything but you would need to set it back to basic then.

I did not find anything. I actually opened a beta so I will be updating that external script and see what I can find.

Any updates or help on this issue?

Hello
I am using a clean test install of Classifieds 5.1 below and I seem to have no display issues with that editor in IE, Mozilla, Opera, Safari or Chrome. flowers - PhotoPost Classifieds
Your welcome to see for yourself and if your not using 5.1 try upgrading.

Your welcome to see for yourself and if your not using 5.1 try upgrading. | I use Firefox browser, have you tried that? I am using 5.1 and the advance editor use to work for me using FF in the 4.x versions of Classifieds. Since upgrading to 5.1 it no longer displays when using the FF browser.

Mozilla is Firefox. For the record I use it almost exclusively except for when checking browser compatibility with features. I am using 14.0.1 which is the most up to date firefox and I see the advanced editor without issue at the site I linked. what do you see?

I am using the same version of FF as you. I can view your site fine.
My problem is I cannot see the editor box when creating an ad on my website while using FF or the latest version of chrome. I can see it and create an ad if I'm using IE.
See attach pic, this is what I see when in advance editor mode. The bottom half I cut out of the pic because it is below where the editor box should be.

Hmm interesting you have tried redownloading classifieds and ensured you have uploaded all the files. For example in 5.1 a newer version of TinyMCE was included and that is what is use on your site.
That is an externally installed program with an on off switch. We do not guarantee that programs reliability in all setups.

Yeah I really do not know what else to suggest since I do not write that software or provide support for it. My knowledge of its issues is extremely limited.

I re-uploaded files and it is still the same.
It makes no since why the advance editor will display using IE browser and nothing using firefox and chrome browsers.
If the basic editor will show using FF and chrome browsers then the advance editor should also.
You can see in attach pic that the advance editor displays perfectly while using the IE browser.

I paid good money for your software to get the full benefit out of it including the advance editor.

WarDog
Any external software we provide has an on off switch just like the flash uploader. It does not mean we provide support for that external product. That is why there is a switch in the first place.
You really have no provided me with a site to look out so what I can say here is limited. Here is a completely different site running vb4 and the editor shows there as well Message - Reeftalk Classifieds
I have yet to see a non functional site. You could have a java conflict maybe I do not know. You could have an issue where your files really really have not been updated. I know the older version of TinyMCE had issues with newer browsers which is why I updated Tinymce to begin with but thats all I can do with that software.
