Quick question on ad quantity

I'm not real clear on this: Is the 'Quantity of Ads?' option when posting a new ad used for listing multiple items for sale under one listing? i.e. I have 10 items for sale on a buy it now, and when one sells it will show 9 for sale.

Or, is it for the admin charging users a fee to post an ad? "If there is a cost associated with placing an ad your price will be multiplied by the quantity you specify here."

Or both?

BOTH ARE TRUE. It means just what it says. It allows you to post multiples of an ad and if there is a cost associated with posting an ad then likewise any cost would be multiplied by the amount.
