| Can't see images
Good day. Users suddenly could not see the images on their ads.
The upload ad goes through but the images are not displayed but are replaced by letters. The avatars of certain categories have also been changed.
I have attached the image of a sample ad. all the random ads appear as "no thumbnail". The last thing i did before things became like this was upgrade the software to 4.21.
We are running Linux, PHP 5.2.17, MySQL 5.0.92-community
Virtual Dedicated Server. Main Index - Motorcycle Philippines Classifieds
We also recently upgarded to VB 4.1.9 which is giving us fits and headaches too.

That example shows a server freak out. I have seen that happen a few times over the years on some server setups when someone tried to upload an image that is over the php settings max upload filesize of 2mb. There is no image there your server dropped it and I think somehow the filename is being split up and recorded in those fields.
You should ensure your users are not uploading images over the server limit and I would make sure you have your php limit in upload options set to match your server max upload filesize of 2048

Yeah two suggestions
1. Set your image processor to Imagemagick if it is installed on your server
2. You can raise your php memory limit and max upload filesize also.

it was already set on ImageMagick, also tried it on GD2 and GD1, still the same.
i'll see about raising the limit but, this i was uploading really small images for the test.

You can post a test user login as long as its not an admin login there is no harm.

The admin login says invalid login but I suggest you check your settings and how you have it setup personally.
The issue has to be on your end. This application and other applications we make are in use in many thousands of sites with no issue.
I can check out your setup but I would need working info and so far I have not received that.

Yeah I checked your settings and corrected them to what should work but you need to get your host involved.
To me it looks like your file upload is not being allowed
I can not check permissions but your uploads and data directories at every level should be 777
Your host would probally be able to give you an idea what your issue would be.

yup they're pretty much dumbfounded, i'll give them a holler again. by the way, did you see in the "Edit Settings" part of the admin portion I had 4 instances of "Search Options", any idea how that happened?
