Make some fields mandatory

Here's a suggestion for the new version then

All fields should be custom and we should have the option to make it mandatory or not.

I am just pointing out since this discussion has been unending that our company does not discuss code modifications. It has not been the first time I have prompted that you continue discussion for your custom coding outside the actual product support forums.
