Adding many categories and extra fields with similar structure

I would like to add many new categories for our global automotive forum. I would like to separate the different car models for each country. For example:

USA
- model 1
- model 2
- model 3
United Kingdom
- model 1
- model 2
- model 3
Germany
- model 1
- model 2
- model 3

Models will have their custom fields like miles/km, transmission type, body style, color and so on.

Germany
- model 1
- miles
- transmission
- color
- model 2
- miles
- transmission
- color
- model 3
- miles
- transmission
- color

Adding all this manually is quite a task if you have 50 countries, 15 models, 5 custom fields = 3750 entries. Is there a way to automate adding new categories and fields like this? Or any other suggestions for a Classifieds setup like this?

Perhaps in the future, we would also like to separate by private sellers / dealers.

The way it works is it does go to all children at every level beneath a top cat however it can only be done when you initially create the additional extra field.

Thus say in your examples you can easy add unlimited additional fields but first setup all your cats then setup all your fields. If you setup an additional extra field dropdown when you initially create that hit the all children option and it will be on all children.

However say for instance you go back add more categories and then go to the top level and hit add children it will not add additional extra fields to those new cats.

That'll be helpful for the custom fields. There is no such thing for the categories like a duplicate action? For example, select a certain category (country) and duplicate this with all sub-categories below.

The add to children function will set permissions normal extra fields etc to its children.

The additional extra fields which are stored a very specific way in arrays in separate tables those can only be added to children when they are initially setup as stated.

I was referring to the categories and not the extra fields.

So for example, if I create a category/sub-categories like this:

Sweden
-model1
--dealer
--private party
-model2
--dealer
--private party
-model3
--dealer
--private party

And easily replicate to:

Norway
-model1
--dealer
--private party
-model2
--dealer
--private party
-model3
--dealer
--private party

Hello

There is no replication feature for categories. Our category feature works find of like vbulletin forums. You can create whatever top level categories and subcats how every many levels you wish and assign permissions inherited etc. However the creation of a category forum whatever you wish to call it is done one at a time you can not replicate a whole new structure based off of categories that already exist. No time saver in that regard.
