well the language is a global setting you can set the global language to whatever you have in your classifieds. If you create multiple languages users can select in there classifieds profile the language they want to view the classifieds in. take note this setting has nothing to do with vbulletin. |
Can I create the links [Classifieds in English] and [Classifieds in Chinese] , the two classifieds is the same one? If the users click the link [Classifieds in English], it will go to the Classifieds in English. and if the users click the link [Classifieds in Chinese], it will go to the same Classifieds in Chinese. |
No way to do that in our program as noted. The language is a global setting. Users can select alternate languages if available from there profile settings in classifieds. |
How many English words should be translated to other language totally? |
Every single english phrase in the program would have to be translated to make a language pack. 1. Go to admin panel and under language tab create a new language answer everything correctly charset etc. That will clone all your english phrases for the alternate language. 2. Go to admin config settings and set your global language to the new language you created say russian etc. 3. Go to admin language settings and view all phrases. You must make sure you set your global language to the new language and so when editing you will edit the current language strings. You will see all phrases and can edit each phrase as you see fit. Everything is paginated and easy to see. |
