| Ads sold
Chuck
When a member sells their ad and they mark it sold it stays showing for 3 days as sold. Now this is correct and working correctly because I have the setups set for 3 days, but the number of items sold and value of items sold never updates, it always stays 0 and n/a, why?

The stats should update there is a query that updates that when you mark it sold
Have you turned off the category cache?

I had cache set to no, but I've turned it on now and the caching is set for every 10 minutes but nothing has upgraded. Have I lost everything prior to turning it on?

whether or not you use a cache has nothing to do with losing anything.
I really cant comment without seeing a url.
I know if I mark an ad sold the stats are updated.

You can send a test login for me to try through the contact us link.
This query is most definitely in the editproduct.php file under the sold clause Code: Content visible to verified customers only.

yeah you definately need to send your cpanel I have to see that database
Something is not right in denmark I would bet my bottom dollar your stats table insert is missing. That would explain why an update query would not work. I also notice you have some code in your footer you have been modifying something.

Yep you should be all fixed. As I figured your stats table was missing its insert.

Thanks Chuck and when should the statistics start showing how many items and dollar amount that has been sold?
Everything is still 0 and n/a. |

Everything would be 0 until you mark something sold etc
Your been running your site with no stats table insert for some reason.

Chuck
I now have -2 items sold and -$90.00 value of items sold. What is causing this and where do I go to correct it?

did someone relist two ads and maybe since you never had the stats query entry there before the original queries to add stats did not work
Your only recourse would be to 0 them under the stats table in phpmyadmin.

Hey Chuck
I'm sure that is what probably has happen. There were a few ads marked sold a ways back before you corrected the stats table.
When I zero it out, in the dollar amount column do I put 0 or 0.00

yes 0 for both works and thats the only way it could have happened. The stats table is only adjusted for very few actions so its an easy question to answer. |
