Recent Ads On index.php

Is there any way to control which categories the "Recent Ads", that display on index.php, are pulled from?

We offer ad categories that are considered "off topic" for our site, but don't want them showing up on our main classifieds page: Main Index - Southern Airboat Classifieds

Not without you altering your queries in the display_gallery function in pp-inc.php

Editing that function would be best for our site, but I don't have the coding knowledge required for that. If you know someone that is familiar with PhotoPost and does custom coding, please let me know.

An alternative may be to remove "Recent Ads" from index.php, but still have them displayed in their respective categories. Is that possible?

When I check no to "Show Most Recent Additions on Index page?" in Layout Options, it removes them from all categories as well.

You can not shut recent ads off and have them display

To alter your query in pp-inc.php the line is like this

Content visible to verified customers only.

You would have to like add the code in bold above and replace the numeric cats with the actual ones you want to pull ads from. If you want to only say which ones not to pull from then it would be like this

Content visible to verified customers only.
