Getting 404 Errors

Not sure what I did, but Im getting 404 errors when clicking on the category titles, which go something like:

http://www.yoursite.com/classifieds/...assifieds.html

Any idea what I may have done?

Are you trying to use the SEO urls and have not renamed our HTACCESS file to .htaccess in your directory?

Ah, yes, I've changed the setting "Use Spider-friendly URLs?" under Global Options to "SEO".

I wasn't aware I needed to do anything more (that's where a user manual would have been great!); what exactly do I need to do to chnage this htaccess file thing? Just rename "HTACCESS" to ".htaccess" in the /classifieds folder?

Also, what's the difference between selecting SEO and spider in that setting?

the spider and seo you can see the difference in the url formation

In your classifieds directory is the file HTACCESS rename that to .htaccess then you can try the seo again.
