Ad payment

Hi Chuck,
my apologies if this has been asked elsewhere but i cant find it!
I have just installed classifieds and I am trying to set up the payment options. I have read a few posts regarding paying per ad but i can't find how to do that. I can find the subscription option for a time period but not a per ad option. Where am i missing this?
also cant find where to charge for highlighting bold etc?
maybe Im mis understanding and its all done via the usergroups and is time based only?
