Talking Here's an Easy One - Links on Member Profile

I want the icq, aim, yahoo etc fields on the Member Profile to return links like the home page field does. I went through the member template and php looking for how it was done to the home page field (so I could duplicate the method on the other fields) and couldn't find it....

what do you really mean here about links. A home page is a url thats why it is a link.

So there really is not an easy thing for what your saying. You see when we parse the homepage link we look say a url and urls are clickable as they should be.

You can not make a yahoo id a url link because it is not. Do you understand what I mean here.

Yeah, I know yahoo isn't a *link* - I got rid of the icq, yahoo, and aim labels because they're not relevant to our community - changed them to facebook, twitter, and something else... things that have links.

Its ok if they can't be easily changed into links. At least they can cut and paste.

I was hoping it was just a little code copying from what is done to the home page field...

well I really cant comment on code hacking to any large extent since it is not supported but you would need to try and possibly find the code below in member.php

Code:
Content visible to verified customers only.
You could try adding below lines like this

Code:
Content visible to verified customers only.
