| Notification Emails
Anytime an email is sent from my classifieds, the email header shows that it came from nobody@host.mydomain.org
At the top of the actual email body, it does show the admin email address that it came from.
How do I make it show correctly in the header instead of coming from "nobody". I did a search and found some old threads but nothing recent. I did try setting the f parameter to yes but that didn't help.

If I get a mail that a reply to an ad has been posted, it shows the correct sender in the email header. The message letting people know that their ad has been deleted and etc. though has the nobody@ in the header. I am not using html email, just regular.
If you want to see what I mean, I can send you a login.

The email that their ad has been deleted. HMM there are various emails here.
Maybe your referring to admin email maybe line 3242 of pp-inc.php this line Code: Content visible to verified customers only.
maybe change to this Code: Content visible to verified customers only.

and that did the trick. Thank you very much. Is that a bug that will be updated in future versions or just an issue that was unique to my site for some reason? Either way, thank you very much for the help.

well its server related but something I will fix. The From: thing is not needed everywhere I think but some server email setups may need it.

Just a side note if it helps ...
I'm running v4.04pl1 of vBulletin off a Linux dedicated server and our emails from Classifieds seem to be flowing fine, so perhaps this isn't an ALL type problem, but rather something unique to Don's server.
Hope that helps ...
Regards,
Doug

Doug yes I believe I said this. However as noted using the format From: email will work everywhere so I can change it.
