Question How do I make the editor entry space larger?

I'm getting complaints from members that the size of the space available to type in their ad content is pretty small. One compared it to a postage stamp and asked why the entire area to the left of it wasn't used. (see pic)

Is there a way of enlarging this?

Thanks for any help ..

Regards,
Doug

Have you tried the advanced editor? Your using the basic and I am sure the basic just uses the size they program in tinymce code but at any rate its nowhere near as small as a postage stamp

Well, maybe not quite that small, but you have to admit, with all the space to the left they could have used more real estate, plus they even wrapped the controls at the bottom as if they didn't have enough room.

I tried the advanced editor and yes, it has a larger footprint, but it also has more controls than a nuclear submarine and with our demographic of members being mostly over 60, it scares the heck out of them. They are used to the vBulletin Editor which is used for everything else, including "Comments" in Photopost Classifieds.

Anyway, perhaps put it in the suggestion box for a future release that the vBulletin editor be an option if the host site is marked as VB3 in options?

Thanks for the feedback ...

Regards,
Doug

well if we get a chance to look at including the vb editor other places we can try its just a time consuming thing since it requires all new templates etc
