New global from additional field
 

Hi Chuck.

Can you guide me a little, how I make a new Globals to use in the template, from the db table productextras.

I need to use dropdown field to choose from 35 breeds (its a cat site), so I cant use the extrafields for this.

I want to show the info on showcat.php instead of "rating".

You can most definately make an extra field in admin dropdown box with 35 items.

You can ask questions with other members about mods outside product support in the mod corner.

I know, and that part is working :-)

But I need to show that additional field on showcat.php, how do I do that?

I got this sql working in showpost.php, but it is not working in showcat.php, can you help?

Feel free to discuss code modifications in the mod corner. There is no way in the code to show extras on showcat.

Mod corner is almost dead, not even you answer in there :-)

No sorry I work for the company I do not participate in that area since thats users discussing with other users. I support our code as it is released just like vbulletin or any other software program out there.

Only time you see me helping with a mod is when its a one liner or something I can post in a minute.
