Different permissions
 

Hi guys,

I am having some problems creating thumbnails using the "scan database" option in the admin panel. It seems to fail on some graphic files. It doesn't do anything, it just fails and stops. I've searched the forums and the typical answer is to "delete the file and try again", but, this is such a pain.

Is there a possibility there is a permissions issue related to file ownership? Take a look at the attachment below. I see that some files are owned by apache and others are owned by root. How do I make sure both have access to the files and I would like all files to be owned by the same user. How do I do this?

It very well is either a permissions issue or a corrupt file. all files should be owned by apache or your webhosting login NOT root.
