[4.01] Ads not deleting

I'm not sure when this stopped working.
I am running 4.01 vB3 Enhanced according to the footer.

I have ads from more than a year ago that probably should have been automatically deleted by now.

I still have a cron job for sendnotice going out from when I had v3.x.
Is there something else I need to do?

Can I automatically delete ads over 6 months old in one shot?

If your actually truly running the cron ads will be expired.

Only exception to this is if you have ads set to no expire.

I'll double check with my host that nothing has changed.
Normally I get an email when a cron job is run.
Now I don't remember getting them.

I am using /usr/bin/php -q /home/username/sendnotice.php

I did check and it is set to yes.

well you can always run sendnotice.php in your browser until you check with your host and find out why the cron is not running.
