vb4 Navbar Issue

I've been searching back and forth between this forum and vbulletin.org and have a couple of questions regarding integration and/or vb4's navbar system.

How do I fully integrate Photopost Classifieds with vBulletin 4 so that
  1. A "Classifieds" link exists in vBulletin's navbar menu
  2. Photopost Classified's own navigation menu becomes the submenu for the selected "Classifieds" link on vBulletin

I have seen the tutorials on vbulletin.org but they aren't specific enough for what I'm requesting here and I'm sorry, I'm not a programmer and have no clue what I'd need to do to make this happen. Thanks!

P.S. - Unless I'm missing something, these basic changes would make the integration with vBulletin look more natural. If this is not an issue that support can address right now, can anyone direct me to someone who could help me accomplish this for a small fee?

Ok...works for the most part but when you click on the link, you're logged out.
Don't know if I'm explaining this right but if I'm logged in and type "mysite.com/classifieds/", I go to classifieds and am still logged in. However, if I click on the link from the code in the example, it'll take me to the classifieds section but now I'm logged out....

and thanks Chuck!

Sorry, familly issues kept me from responding more timely this weekend.

I've got the link working in vb4's navbar so thank you for that. My only mission now is how to take the menubar.tpl in photopost classifieds, convert it to the sub nav menu on vb4, under the classifieds link I just made, then completely remove the menubar.tpl once that's done.

I saw the menubar inside the admin panel but could only find a "top menu" variable.

Where can I find and recreate the links as they are in the menubar.tpl and what would I have to do to remove that template once I've converted it into the vb4 subnav? Thanks...

You might want to post in THE MOD CORNER. That would probally require you to create some hack for vb for that.

You can try replacing the $tablinks section in your navbar with this but I cant say that would work

Code:

yeah pretty well figured it would not. You need to create code in vb to do our menu and use vb variables.
