Spider friendly URLs

When I set this to seo or spider I get the following error when I go to a category.

Not Found

The requested URL /classifieds/g5-vibrators.html was not found on this server.

Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.
Apache/2.0.63 (Unix) mod_ssl/2.0.63 OpenSSL/0.9.7a mod_auth_passthrough/2.1 mod_bwlimited/1.4 FrontPage/5.0.2.2635 Server at []XXX Shops - XXXX Shops[/url] Port 80.

Is there a mod rewrite I can add to the .htaccess file as I have had to do to get the Spider friendly URLs working for vb4?

Well spider friendly urls dont require htaccess but seo does

By change did you rename the file HTACCESS included with our code to .htaccess and its in the root of your classifieds install?
