Ad count stays the same

When i delete ads, the total count on the front page remains the same. Even the empty pages remain. How can I get the front page to accuratly display the correct amount of ads and pages.

where are you deleting ads from? Is your category cache on or off?

Mike_K March 9th, 2010 01:26 PM

I don't know why, but at my Statistics Bar the "Value of items sold" and "Items Sold" are at zero.... although ads were marked as sold.

After installing Classifieds (and testing) it works. But not now.

Categorie cache = no

How I can get back the statistic of sold items?

Chuck S March 9th, 2010 02:12 PM

If an ad is sold the statistics are most definately changed. You sure your ads where just expired not sold?

Chuck S March 9th, 2010 02:34 PM

You say it worked when you installed but not now. anything special any changes you made to the code. I mean because what happens when you mark an ad sold we explicitly query an update command to add the price and another ad sold to the stats table.

That's a good question... what did I do?

After testing I want give my users a clean Shop. I think the only think I have done is to empty the table cp_payments, because of the stats should also be clean.

After I (or others) mark the ad as sold, it will be shown as sold. And after 1 day (standard setting) it is not longer in the sales list.

I've tested it right now. If I mark an ad as sold it will not written in the cp_payments.

Chuck S March 10th, 2010 07:21 AM

it wont be written to the cp_payments

It is written to cp_stats

You can post a url and test login. I have tested this and it works

Mike_K March 10th, 2010 07:34 AM

My cp_stats has 0 bytes in datas

I know that it works... saw it before ;)

Mike_K March 10th, 2010 07:37 AM

I had disabled the stats panel. Now I enabld it an there is nothing to see in stats. Also not members, Offers, Views....

Can it be something with the cron?

edit: I disabled now the cache and ths stats are shown.... except selled ads and value of selled ads.

As stated if you want assistance please post info so we can actually see your site.

Mike_K March 10th, 2010 09:04 AM

Thanks for your offer, chuck. But it's not the big think. If all other works, it's okay for me. I diabled the stats.
Thought there were an easy solution.

Chuck S March 10th, 2010 09:07 AM

Okay no problem
