hi there, im having a bit of a problem with the messaging on photopost classifieds 3.13
the emails seem to be working fine but when i receive an email i dont know which member has contacted me only their email address and message. is there a way of adding a member name field to the contact form?
i cant seem to get the private messaging system working, its my first time using photopost classifieds so i dont really know how to go about this.

Well upgrade instructions are included in the documentations folder of the download but as the announcement I linked you suggests you want to upload EVERYTHING except the install.php and 2 config files and maybe the header and footer.htm files if your using them
then you simply run upgrade.php and select the upgrades from your version forward.

replace or overwrite is the right term. Merge there is nothing to merge your uploading the new files to your server in effect replacing or overwriting what is already there.

ok cool, the only other thing i dont quite understand is...
HTACCESS (new file) -- You must rename this to .htaccess and upload to the classifieds directory. but it doesnt mention that in the upgrade file.

It most certainly does in the changelog and the announcement I posted to you.
The upgrade documentation states for exact changes visit the changelog text file.
The htaccess file is for use in the new SEO |
