Day of week

I am having an issue when an ad is posted the post date shows a day earlier.
I just had a member post a want ad Monday November 23 @ 9:41am and it shows it was posted Sunday the 22nd at 9:41pm

Can you point me in the right direction of fixing this?

well what is your gmt offset etc set to? We simply use server time unless you offset your time from server so is your server a day away or along with GMT your offsetting your date in a wrong way?

Thanks Chuck, I was adding the +/- in front of the hour offset instead of just the number.
