Make the display sequence of ads update with replies?

Is it possible for the ads to change their display sequence in response to someone having posted a reply to them, in the same manner as threads in VBulletin do?

Or is the display sequence hard coded to always follow the date they were posted for a chronological display only??

In showcat script ads are displayed by whatever default sort you set. In admin edit categories you elect what the default sort is.

But none of those will allow the display order to ever be affected by someone simply replying to a post as though it were a thread in VBulletin, which always kicks it back to the top of the display list.
Correct??

Not sure what your trying to do we are talking the order ads display in right.

If your trying to display by recent ads first then you set the display order as latest
