Now the calculation is right in PP Classifieds but the amount is being multiplied by three again.
This is what is says in PP Classified: Quote:
The payment for this ad is $345.
You are buying 3 products at $100.00 + $45 Shipping Amount.
To complete your transaction and purchase this ad, you need to provide payment. Please click on the link below to process your PayPal payment.
| This is what it says at PayPal Quote: |
Corner Rounder Tool $345.00 3 $1,035.00

Well first off there is no if on the line I told you to add so not sure what that comment means.
I beleive the buy template this line $checkbuy should be 1 because obviously since your no longer passing the proper amounts to paypal in the regular fields but instead a lump sum
So quantity should be 1 Code: Content visible to verified customers only.

| So are you saying to change the template code to? Quote: |
<input type="hidden" name="quantity" value="1">

Indeed change it back because in a prior discussion we where talking about the amount not being passed right on quantities in another thread. We fixed that and now your saying shipping is not being passed to your paypal. I know it works in mine and others. I dont think anyone has considered users actually turning it off. Really by default paypal shopping cart should have that turned on.

I'm getting really confused now by what you're saying. The only discussion I recall was charging for one ad regardless of the quantity of an item the advertiser had for sale from charging multiple times for the quantity of items. Is that what you're referring to?
I set the quantity to "1" and PayPal get the right amount. It passes as a gerry-rig because now it refers to three items in the Buy It Now display and as one item when it gets to the PayPal payment page. Almost certain to cause mild confusion but if that's the best we can do then that will have to do.
What troubles me is the number of code and template changes I am ending up with that I will have to document and update with every future update to PP Classifieds.

Yes we originally had not put the quantity in the quantity line to pass quantity to paypal that was a bug and I fixed that for you and all but there is your problem if you want to pass everything to paypal as a lump sum and not use the default fields they provide then you need to do something else.
The message is correct Quote:
The payment for this ad is $345.
You are buying 3 products at $100.00 + $45 Shipping Amount.
To complete your transaction and purchase this ad, you need to provide payment. Please click on the link below to process your PayPal payment.
| I have no control over how your paypal is setup on your end. Right now we are patching this to work because paypal is not accepting the shipping field for you. This is a custom fix for your issue.

Depends on what it turns out to be like and how much we could salvage of how we have our setup with vbPortal. At this point we are pretty much of a mind that we will stay with our current configuration indefinitely ... so I would recommend keeping your compatibility with what exists now in future versions.
