| Upload Ad Options?
Hello, I think that my thumbnail image are set wrong in my admin. I have got a couple of emails saying that they can not list any classifieds, thumbnail image fault errors will pop up. What should I have them set at in Upload options?
Here is the error:
Error creating thumbnail! Error code: 1
Command: "/usr/bin/mogrify" -strip -resize "175x" -resize "x131<" -gravity center -crop 175x131+0+0 -quality 80 /home/content/g/e/r/germantin/html/classifieds/data/3/thumbs/DSC05695.JPG
Thanks, Steven

That error is because of a couple things you need to check.
1. check to ensure your classifieds data path is actually correct in global options.
2. make sure that your data directory and every single directory beneath it at all levels are 777
3. If you still have issues them it could be that your imagemagick is broke try using gd2 and see if the image uploads fine.

Hello Chuck, Thanks for the Help. I have not messed with anything in the server, I tried to switch imagemagick to GD2 and that works but what would have happened to imagemagick, what would be the difference in the two?

well if GD works then your paths and permissions seem fine so yes your imagemagick is broke.
Your host most likely updated your server and broke the mogrify install. GD2 is pretty much quality wise the same as imagemagick but its prone to issues uploading larger files as in shutting down php since its part of PHP.
Your only recourse if you want Imagemagick would be to recompile that and without ssh access thats impossible.

Hello
To install Imagemagick is the install charge of $59.00 but we cant install that on your server unless you have ssh access and have access to the gcc tools on the server. If you have ssh sign in and type make and see what happens. If it gives you a command help line then we should be able to install Imagemagick. If you dont have ssh or make command installed there is nothing that can be done you must use gd2 or you can always ask your host to install it and see what they say.

Chuck, on my site I am using photopost classifieds and photopost gallery. I am having issues with the imageMagick with the classifieds as discussed above, now my photopost gallery is also using imageMagick and I can upload pictures with no issues?
