Message Board

A spammer has registered and input dozens of messages in the "message board" area. I need to delete these in bulk, but don't see how to do it.

I have to click on the message and hit the delete button at the bottom.

I wasn't aware they could post ads in this area, so I haven't paid attention to it.

Any help would be appreciated.

Cheers.

Well if someone can register they can post. There is no mass delete of threads.

I have been getting this also. There should a check box alongside each message so the admin can select and mass delete. I have closed my message board because of that abuse. Maybe we can get this in the next upgrade.

Chuck, getting back to this about the PhotoPost message board, is it only data from that message board is in the table 'board'. It appear the number of entires in that table is much greater than the number of messages that appear when enabled. Or are only a certain number of messages displayed, as there is no 'next page'.

Thanks

Bob

When I activated the PhotoPost message board system there was a list of 50 old messages, so I started to delete them, but the list did not get shorter. This suggested to me there are more than appear in that list, yet there is no 'next page' link and only the last 50 appear. The database 'board' table has over a 1000 messages listed, and I am not sure if they relate only to the message board or elsewhere. If they are only for the message board then I can empty that table.

board to my knowledge is only for the board you can empty that table contents.

There should be a next link if there is another page of threads but like I said without physically looking at the issue anything I say is a guess.
