well possibly I think the issue is editing a string and html. This was fixed in the latest release of classifieds I added an extra line in pp-inc.php where noted

Feel free to download the code and upload pp-inc.php or just add the extra line in bold. You should then be able to add html to language strings. This change that CC0000 color to whatever you wish and change.

i have tried to rectify this problem but it will not save the new line of code..i have tried my code in a htm page and it works fine...i have cut and paste the line that is on your post but it will not save this..i have tried all button options but nothing saved ??????????????

You can download classifieds from the members area or edit your pp-inc.php file on the server and add the line in bold in my post where noted.

make sure if your copying and pasting that you dont paste empty space I tried your login and it worked and I also emailed you the file at that email.

well blow me...done it and it works...why is this software different to everyone else's in the world by not having a user manual.....shoddy man ...cum on chuck pull ya socks up man.
if i dont get rid of this software i may be forced to kill myself with the stress.

In admin /statistics.. total veiws...why does the counter read 1300. then the next time i look it reads less 1200 for example ? puzzled

Well basically your ad content is temporary meaning if ads expire then after say two weeks expired ads are deleted so that content does not exist. views are calculated on the views on existing ads. The only statistics that stay consistent is your sold ads and amount the stats shown to everyone.

when recieving an email about items that will expire i get email from various members..i though that when items are due to expire people shud get email from me as systems admin...cant seem to figure this one..?

what is the exact email contents you get? If your talking about sendnotice.php the expire script ads are definately sent to the actual user whom posted the ad.

Yes it does send to the person who posted the ad...its the sender thats the problem the system just seems to pick one out at random..it could be anyone, i thought it should be me and the address i use as admin.
