Removing sidebar and placing recent ads on homepage

halo , hope it's not being questioned all over again, but i have followed some directions and still lost .. hope chuck or some one here can guide me;

1. Removing side bar
i'd like to have sidebar left to completelly moved to bottom, and have the main clasified to be streched 100% .
from what i've learn , the case is editing sidebar_leftopen.tmpl file
but i only managed to "no" the feature. having the lines deleted just ruined the main page layout ...

2. Move the Recent Ads below the news
is it possible ? so i can have the categories just below the recent ads

(look at the pic again thnx)

3. Calling the recent Ads to the main page / forum home

but i have a problem with step 2 , when you required to place a line :

the classifieds folder is inside my Forum folder

1. turn the sidebar off and under sidebar setting turn on the undercats pal

2. there is a switch in layout options to show that block top or bottom

3. that error looks like your calling that file twice. You install the plugin there is no need to edit the index.php file. you simply install the plugin and make the template edit OR edit the index file and make the template edit

i feel so ashamed for these questions , it was there all along ...

for #1 & 2 it;s solved

#3 , yes i have it complicated with plugin installed earlier ..

but the next step is .. to call the variable on my Template's index / main file

If the plugin is active and that template edit is in place on the forumhome template then ads should show if there are some

The theme you want to edit is Ambient V2 Fixed

The variable must be in forumhome template for that theme and the plugin must be active

You must also have photos uploaded to your gallery

1. On the forum home , Is it always featured ads (is it the same with recent ads?) or there's a way to exchange them ?

2.pls look at the pic:

there's white background around the foto, that doesn't blend to well with black background... any fix for that ? thanks

yes that looks right

as far as removing the overlay image you can try changing this line in the inc_ads.php file
