Well what do you mean by this?

Please explain. I can delete ads on my test site so check this out.

1. You as admin can move delete ads using the move delete link under product options when viewing the ad.

2. You as admin can set that users can move delete ads while editing an ad by the settings in admin options.

Display Admin quick move/delete options under ad?
On larger sites this option can slow down the showproduct page. Turn off to speed up this page. YES

Still i cant delete it.

If you click that thing under product options you need to go down to below the ad to the ajax to delete it. maybe your not seeing what you need to do.

You can place a url and regular login here and I can see if you have it set to delete ads for a regular user but the admin thing is ajax.

I have tested both functions and they work from what I am seeing so I need you to explain your issue in depth.

Yes indeed when upgrading you always must run all the required upgrades from your previous version forward. You merely missed one.

hmm Chuck, i've the same issue also user and admin cannot edit the ads even though permission i set to allow, mine is a fresh install i've already email you my website photopost classifieds admin/ftp login detail through the contact link and support appreciate you can login and help me, thanks alot in advanced and hope to hear from you soon

i've followed below instruction but user cannot see the edit link when viewing thier ads:
------
As far as edit delete you need to ensure you permission set in admin => admin option they can delete ads and then in admin => edit usergroups you need to set permission to edit ads.

Users will see an edit ad link when viewing their ad.

well you say you cant edit don't you see an edit link in product options?

There is most definately an edit option if you give users edit permissions in usergroups options thats a definate.

Yep your modifications to the script are your culprit. You removed our menubar. Your have removed parts of the templates etc. Your entire product options menu is missing from your showproduct template

Using our default files without your mods will fix the issue as I have stated.

Thanks alot Chuck for the tips, I've put back the showproduct.tmpl and everything is back in order now this showproduct.tmpl file causes the issue as I've customise and forgotten to keep the product options intact.

I've one more question appreciate your advice, the product options has a hover with user option and admin option, which file or tmpl can i modify to change the user option and admin option?

The code that determine which options appear in the product options dropdown are in showproduct.php
