How do I make pictures mandatory...

So, after everything is working smooth now, i'd like to know how i could make pictures mandatory for a "For Sale" ads.

Also, instead of thumbnails to the "For Sale" ads, i always get the default "No Thumbnail"... i'm using GD2.

Another thing, how do i remove the "No Thumbnails" from the "Looking for/want to buy" ads.

You might need to provide a link here. If your able to upload images you should have thumbnails. No thumbnails is shown when there is no image uploaded. There is no specific way to set in the program to require an image. They are always optional. You would need to specifically alter the code in some way to do what you wish.

What i really wanted is to make people upload pictures in order to be able to post a "For Sale" ad.

well there is no specific setting for that in the program as images are optional on classifieds.

I believe I responded above asking for a link etc to be able to assist.

As far as removing the no thumbnail thing that is a placeholder and there is no way to remove this without altering templates whereever you wish to remove this from. The proper pages that are not suppose to have images like the showproduct page etc dont show an image

That is the nothumbnail placeset

You can try at your own risk possibly removing this line in showcat.php

Code:
Content visible to verified customers only.
Or simply make a transparent image called nothumb.gif and replacing the actual image with your new one

If you want the thumbnails to work as designed then you do nothing.

If there is some other issue here like you recieve errors uploading you might want to pass that error along so we can assist.

EXAMPLE

http://www.ciclism.ro/forums/classif...stadt_bike.jpg

shows fine

http://www.ciclism.ro/forums/classif...stadt_bike.jpg

does not show

Therefore when you upload what is the error you recieve? did you make sure the data directory at every level is set to 777 permissions that means the numeric directories beneath data as well as the thumbs large directories beneath the numeric directories?

data 777
--2 777
--thumbs 777
--large 777

You set the global language link you did before in admin config settings placing the name of a language there.

1. I beleive because that is something you do when you upload and have to pay for meaning if one has to pay thats how we collect money this is not something you can edit later

2. I beleive your talking about the forum not our software right? we dont have any control over vbulletin or there code. You might want to try this mod to see if it helps

Hey Chuck,

I got a new problem now... for some odd reason, if i'm logged into any account, and i try to access the classifieds, i get a blank screen. If i'm not logged in, i am able to see the classifieds.
