Who bought the product?

I have a member that sold something in my Classifieds section, but he does not know who bought it. No payment came in through paypal, so he is asking me how does he know who the buyer is?

well what do you mean someone bought it? Did he mark it sold? Did he get some info about it being bought? we need more information because you dont really track anything in the software on this

The member got a message saying that the item sold and its marked as sold in the classifieds.

The item can only be marked as sold if he marks it as sold or a user buys it. Do you have any information for that product in your payment mysql table?

How do you know "which" user bought the product?

I have not looked, nor do I know how to look. I know how to look at the tables, but I would not know how to look for certain items.

There is no specific way to look in the program at who bought what. That is really between the user and the buyer however if the buyer bought the product through the buyit now feature there would be a record in the payments table in mysql database for that product. The ad_id and user_id fields are clearly marked.

You sure this is not just a case of the sendnotice cron script expired the ad and the user simply visited his ad and saw it expired? You might need some more information from him asking why he thinks it sold? If he indeed got an email saying it was sold that email would have had all contact details etc which is why I am a little confused why he would not have this information. Try seeing if he has the email he recieved.
