Understanding For Sale System

OK I just want to make sure that I understand things. On the reserve price how come it says this?

If this is an auction you may enter a reserve price to allow users to buy the product and end your auction. (Numbers only!):

But it's saying that it's also a buy it now. What is it really for? Also how do I edit the bid increments.

The setting your talking about is to enter a price on an auction to let a user buy the auction immediately.

yes if it's labelled on the upload as:

If this is an auction you may enter a reserve price to allow users to buy the product and end your auction. (Numbers only!):

I know a reserved price is an amount that a seller is looking for but, they still wait for more bids and can go beyond his reserved price.

The user posting an ad has a right to set an amount to end his auction if someone wants to purchase the product right away. It is there call there to enable fill it out or not.

I am merely explaining how it works

OK but here is the problem look here:

Another test - Quotaless Marketplace

I have set my reserve price at $ 50 and the asking price of $ 100. Shouldn't it be the other way around? Try buying it now and you'll see what I'm talking about.

If you look in the ad it says Buy It Now is $ 100 but when you click buy it now it's only $ 50. Sorry if I'm being a pain but I just want this to be bug free before I open it to the public.

Also what is the file to edit the navigation bar?

There will be a lot of people that can be confused with this. I think it should have a seperate line. Buy it Now is Buy it Now, Reserved is Reserved is Reserved and Opening Bid is Opening Bid.

Also when the bidding has ended shouldn't be the buy it now disabled? Like this one it's still showing buy it now. Even if the ad is already closed.

Just for fun - Quotaless Marketplace

Actually my thoughts and explanation

1. bidding should not end before buy it now is enabled.

2. reserved is the starting buy it now price.

3. if the max bid is higher then the reserve price then my thoughts is buy it now price should be that price.

I will have to do some testing and let you know issues I see
