How to change Forum location statement and not get distorted style?

Chuck;

Hello;

How to change forum location statement on your navbar and not get a distorted style? It is assuming an index.php statement. Which would be correct if only vBullentin installed. But with vbadvanced cmps_index.php renamed to index.php, I get sent to my portal page.

So the original vbulletin statement is renamed to another name such as forum.php.

If I go to reviews or classifieds admin page and go to forum configuration and add the name (example: forum.php) it will go to the correct location now but the style is way off. The browser bar has the / added to the statement which is correct. If I remove the added / then the page recomposes correctly as I would want it to be.

Is there some other setting that I need to change?

Hope this makes sense!

Thanks

Hi!

Yes, but is it set from within the admin panel under forum settings? Because when I tried to change the location to my actual forum file name for the vb index.php file in your admin panel, it would go there but only with a distorted style. Right now without the added file name at the end of the forum location it just goes to index.php which is the vbadvanced rename.

This setting was under the forum settings part of the classifieds or reviews admin panel. And as I said if I removed the / at the browser line it would then go to the proper style and location.

Just wondering what would be the work around to get it to point to the vb index.php file which has a different name instead of the vbadvanced cmps_index.php file which is now represented as renamed to index.php.

Thanks,

Nowhere in our program do you set a forum link with filenames so where are you talking?

You can feel free to post a link to your site and where your talking.

Main Index - PhotoPost Classifieds

Our default classifieds included a forum link on our navbar which is simply a link to the forum url. That link simply uses the global vbulletin setting in our admin panel under forum settings the forum url. That link is formatted in the topmenu function under pp-inc.php file.

Hello;

Chuck,

Well then alright it can not be done from the admin panel. Only to the extent that I discribed. So I looked at pp-inc.php file and could not see were the programing mentioned the "forum" setting on "your" navbar. It is a fairly large file. I may have missed it. I was assuming that if I edited it, I could point it to my renamed vbulletin index.php file which is now tcb_index.php.

Am I correct in this assumption? Or am I beating my head against the wall.

Thanks

Under the topmenu function in pp-inc.php is where the link to the forum is located

Code:
Content visible to verified customers only.
