Try redownloading the code and uploading the forums subdirectory under classifieds or simply that vb3.php file and tell me if that makes any difference.

I already have Classifieds running on a live site, are you suggesting I wipe it all and do a fresh install? Sorry, I'm a bit confused.

No I am suggesting you download the build and reupload the vb3.php file that exists in the forums subdirectory of your classifieds directory.

Thanks Chuck, that worked. I guess it was fixed in a later release as the file you had me upload had quite a few changes from my earlier 3.x one. Thanks

Not a problem if your not using 3.13 then try upgrading but then all depends on what version your running. Just follow any announcements to see what files changed from your version forward.
