How do i resize the thumbs? All my images are showing up really large on the homepage: Main Index - Buy and Sell in the GzN Classifieds I tried clicking on rebuild thumbs and it did nothing. It is really stretching my page and making things look ugly. What should I do? |
Are you sure your processor is working? Have you tried switching to GD2 etc? |
I switched to GD2 but then when clicking on resize thumb I got this error: Warning: unlink() [function.unlink]: No such file or directory in /home/*****/public_html/shop/image-inc.php on line 132 and (): Sorry, this image type is not supported yet. Edit: Same thing happens when switching to GD1, But if I then click back and try again, it works the second time round. so something is still wrong. Is there also a way to mass rebuild thumbs? Edit 2: I have spent many hours and nearly resized them all, it is a very long process because of all the errors, however I can not resize a couple of images because they are giving me this error: Unable to read the format of file: /home/***/public_html/shop/data/27/r11.JPG Warning: getimagesize(/home/****/public_html/shop/data/27/r11.JPG) [function.getimagesize]: failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /home/*****/public_html/shop/image-inc.php on line 270 Edit 3: I decided to delete those images that I could not resize at all just so I could make the look of the homepage a bit more appealing, but that is not a good solution, I'd still like to find out how to fix my problem. Edit 4: here is another error I get: (6): Sorry, this image type is not supported yet. |
Did you set permissions to 777 at every level on data and uploads when you installed and the server path is correct? If thats the case you should not have issues. Your server also should not have safe mode on. |
just checked all the folders in data and uploads were chmod 777 and they were, safe mode is off as well. You can see the image here that is large: www.gamerzneeds.net/shop This is the error i am getting with it: Unable to read the format of file: /home/****/public_html/shop/data/25/stuff.jpg Warning: getimagesize(/home/*****/public_html/shop/data/25/stuff.jpg) [function.getimagesize]: failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /home/*****/public_html/shop/image-inc.php on line 270 |
I would suspect an issue with your image processor or permissions. Example this image is resized to your setting of 250 for preview images http://www.gamerzneeds.net/shop/data...screenshot.png The supersize is copied fine http://www.gamerzneeds.net/shop/data...screenshot.png The issue here is only your thumbnail http://www.gamerzneeds.net/shop/data...screenshot.png I would definately need to see your server and settings. |
I'll ask my host about some of the things, but I got a new error, not sure if this will help track down the problem more: Warning: exec() has been disabled for security reasons in /home/****/public_html/shop/image-inc.php on line 103 Warning: exec() has been disabled for security reasons in /home/****/public_html/shop/image-inc.php on line 103 Warning: exec() has been disabled for security reasons in /home/****/public_html/shop/image-inc.php on line 103 |
Warning: exec() You can not use Imagemagick or jpegtran You can only use GD2 since they have disabled exec function. |
k, well I am getting this error when trying to upload an ad myself: Fatal error: Call to undefined function n2lbr() in /home/***/public_html/shop/pp-inc.php on line 3323 how do I fix this? |
redownload the build and reupload pp-inc.php |
4/7/09 10:03 AM - Expired :/ I just missed out. |
send me an email to the contact us link in the header I can send you that one file or simply just edit pp-inc.php and replace n2lbr with nl2br |
alright that fixed things up with uploading ads. thanks. I'll test things out a bit more and will see if resizing is working or failing when creating new ads or if it is only failing on old ads. |
yeah thats what my suspicion is the memory thing. |
